Job Description

We are looking for a Packing Supervisor with food or beverage industry experience and at least 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience. As a Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the packing department, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining high standards of product quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily operations and conduct team huddles to communicate the production schedule.
• Set up the packing department each morning and afternoon, including preparing necessary materials.
• Lead and coach employees to align with company goals and objectives.
• Track key team metrics such as throughput, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain effective communication with employees, supervisors, the production manager, the manufacturing support manager, and the quality department.
• Monitor product quality from raw materials to packaging materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in the food or beverage industry.
• 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of supervisor or managerial experience.

Work Environment

You will be working in a production environment with 20 direct reports. Slip-resistant shoes are required. Compensation is based on experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00

DP, benefits including dental, vision, medical, PTO, cook outs, great break room, promote from within, overtime available

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Irving,TX.
