Regional Controller

Our client, a nationwide leader in their specialized industry is seeking a Controller due to growth. The right candidate will be degreed with five (5+) years of experience at this level. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Controller in the Inland Empire to join a dynamic team, reporting directly to a Regional VP. In this role, you'll primarily be tasked with handling a variety of accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and providing business insight and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of accounting functions, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, including analytical review.

• Work on the timely completion and accuracy of all bank reconciliations.

• Update KPI's and dashboards to meet the needs of the parent company.

• Manage intercompany balances.

• Prepare monthly Flash report as required.

• Create monthly (supervisory board) report comments.

• Develop the annual budget, periodic latest estimates (forecasts), and monthly estimates.

• Prepare weekly cash projections to enhance cash flows and minimize cash balances.

• Work on improving NWC and FCF performance.

• Monitor capital expenditures and inventory to ensure they remain within budget/forecast and financing expectations.

• Maintain cost controls over operating expenditures.

• Provide business insight and guidance to senior management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller

• CPA or MBA a distinct plus but not required

• Experience in preparing and managing Annual Budgets

• Proven competency in Auditing practices

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation

• Experience in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements

• Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation

• Expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Journal Entries and their application in accounting
