CNC Machinist

Job Description:

• Operate a variety of CNC Machinery that produces parts for the steel industry.
• Responsible for setting up machinery.
• Make adjustments to machines (tooling, settings).
• Utilize drawings, blueprints, schematics.
• Quality inspection of parts, utilizing micrometers, calipers, gauges.

Qualifications:

• CNC Machinist experience (2+ years)
• Blueprints (2+ years)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical competencies
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Thread gages
• Go/no-go gages

Work Environment

3rd Shift: 11pm-7am with a $1.50 shift differential. Must be open to working some Saturdays and Sundays (Sundays are double-time) - 2 weekends a month. This is primarily a stamping facility where fasteners for the steel industry are made. The company has undergone positive changes, many employees have been with the company for over 20 years.
