Job Description

We are currently hiring general production workers for our overnight shift. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working in a manufacturing environment and looking to bring their skills to the next level. You will be assigned a trainer who will ensure you are learning the different processes of our manufacturing process and provide check-ins to ensure you are catching along.

Responsibilities

• Perform consistent inspections throughout the day.
• Enter data into a computer.
• Ensure the production line is running smoothly.
• Partner with a Technician to set up the line and perform changeovers for new products.
• Keep the workplace clean by organizing products, sweeping, and relieving others during their break time.

Essential Skills

• Good job tenure/work history with minimal job hopping.
• Ambitious, willing to learn, and interested in working within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic math.
• Experience with assembly, machine operation, and inspections.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers.

This position offers the opportunity to work only half of the year due to the rotating schedule, which includes built-in overtime every other week. New hires are assigned a trainer to ensure they are set up for success. The company boasts outstanding tenure on the production floor, with many employees having worked here for over 10 years. Upon completion of the contract, candidates will receive a pay increase based on their learning progress. There is significant room for growth, with potential advancement to Utility Technician, Set Up Technician, and Lead Technician roles. The facility features a brand new cafeteria with multiple food options, coolers, vending machines, and ice cream during the summer. Each candidate will be provided a locker for personal belongings on their first day. Multiple performance reviews will be conducted to ensure progress, including reviews after 5 days, 3 months, 6 months, and annually, which can result in raises. The 12-hour shift includes two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Work Environment

The work environment is very well-lit, clean, and organized. Current openings are on the overnight shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with a 2 days on, 2 days off schedule. Employees will work rotating 36 and 48-hour work weeks.
