Manufacturing CWI - Certified Welding Inspector

Monday - Friday 5am-3:30pm

Direct hire, up to $30/hour based on experience, 401k with match, paid holidays, PTO after 30 days

Job Description:

  • Work with Senior CWI in developing and approving required weld documentation
  • Conducting dimensional and weld audits and working with welders
  • Observation of testing, and verficaiton of weld conformity to specs, quality, and safety standards

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Must be AWS Certified Welding Inspector
  • Must have at least two years of weld inspecting experience
  • Must be proficient at reading weld symbols and blue print drawings
  • Must be capable of using precise measuring equipment, gauges, calipers, height gages, etc.
  • Experience with D1.1 and ground combat vehicle welding codes for aluminum and steel 
  • Proficiency in GD&T preferred
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs. 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of drug screen and background check
