Job Description

As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for shipping products, pulling products off the conveyor, palletizing, and wrapping skids.

Responsibilities

• Pull products off the conveyor.
• Palletize and wrap skids.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking and inventory.
• Ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.
• Pack products as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with RF scanners.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Skill in palletizing and shipping & receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Preferred experience with computers and scanning equipment.
• Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving skills.
• Capability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40 - 70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
• Willingness to work weekday and weekend overtime as required.

Work Environment

The position is within a distribution center for scientific equipment. Most of the equipment is being sent to science rooms in schools, hospitals, or medical labs. The facility has a team of about 100-120 people, divided into receiving, picking, and shipping teams. The shipping shifts are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with a 10% shift differential for the noon shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70
