Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour, based on experience
About the Role: We're seeking self-motivated, reliable technicians to perform service and special installation projects independently across the country. Your problem-solving skills and technical expertise will be put to the test as you work with fire alarms, intrusion systems, and access control in a variety of settings.What You’ll Need to Bring:
  • Field experience in Fire Alarm, Intrusion, and Access Control systems
  • NICET certification (preferred)
  • Valid state-required Physical Security/Life Safety licenses
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards, particularly NFPA 70 and 72
  • Willingness to travel (2-3 weeks at a time)
  • Comfort working at heights of 20’-60’ using lifts
  • Blueprint and site map reading skills
  • Familiarity with multiple intrusion/access system manufacturers is a plus
  • Customer-focused communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
What You’ll Do:
  • Install and troubleshoot cabling systems and equipment, focusing on fire alarms, access control, and intrusion systems.
  • Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings.
  • Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet contractual obligations.
  • Program fire alarm control panels, mount sensors, and test systems for full operational functionality.
  • Ensure all work meets customer expectations, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams and supervisors to ensure timely, quality results.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work day shifts (some nights required) and travel for multiple weeks
  • Experience with MS Office, email, and internal systems
  • Basic PPE and transportation (for initial training period)
