We're hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to support educational programs in a dynamic and supportive environment. We need motivated individuals committed to enhancing the learning experiences of children with special needs.

Job Information:

  • Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Contract
  • Hourly Wage: $28/hour
  • Contract Period: 2024-2025 School Year

Key Duties:

  • Assist in executing data collection processes under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher or Behavior Supervisor.
  • Stay calm, professional, and adaptable while interacting with students, staff, and school administrators.
  • Show up consistently and deliver dependable support to ensure smooth classroom operations.
  • Work alongside specialists to promote school readiness, early learning, and social engagement during group activities and playtime.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is necessary.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working with students who have behavioral needs in an educational setting.
  • Having RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification is a significant plus.
  • Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish or American Sign Language (ASL), are highly desirable.
