Job Title: Director Strategic Initiatives & Projects
Reports To: CEO
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00/Yearly

Flexibility:Works the hours needed to support the business goals (including overtime, weekends and holidays). Remains open-minded, performs a wide variety of job tasks, transitions from task to task effectively (multi-task).

Display pride in your work area by maintaining daily housekeeping of our operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, smoke areas, etc.… Promote teamwork and assist in all areas and processes in the operation as needed / required.
Quality of Work:Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines. Produces accurate, thorough and professional work. Understands the importance of Only Handle It Once – OHIO, by completing work correctly the first time.
Follows directions:Follows all written and verbal instructions provided by management, project leader, etc.…
Communication:Shares all information in a professional and factual manner ensuring the best decisions are made for the company. Report all issues to your manager/supervisor.
Appearance:Maintains an appropriate appearance and dresses in accordance with the established dress code guidelines to your respective position.
Safety:Follows all rules, guideline, and practices. Informs supervisor / manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives related by optimizing processes and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategy with overall business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies and automations solutions within the warehousing and supply chain industry.
- Report on the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.
- Lead the implementation of automation solutions and technologies to improve productivity, safety and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all supply chain and warehousing activities.
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to managers in the areas of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Support training programs and initiatives to enhance team skills and promote professional growth.
- Develop business cases and manage budgets for strategic initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance against the business case and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain productive and value-driven relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive value.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Experience:
- At least 12 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or warehousing, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving operational improvements.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Project management and execution experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on day-to-day operational needs.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast, and optimize supply chain costs.
- Deep knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehousing technologies.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Compensation details: 150000-170000 Yearly Salary
