Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash/credit card transactions, verifying drawer, and following all cash handling policies. Will also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
  • Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
  • Makes change, accepts credit cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
  • Follows all cash/credit card handling procedures.
  • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
  • Assists in prepping/keeping food and beverage items ready for sale, ensuring proper hot and cold holding temperatures.
  • Keeps self serve cases and warmers stocked.
  • Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
