School-based Physical Therapist Opening - Portland, ME
- A great school in the Portland, MEarea is now looking to hire a Physical Therapist(PT) for a part time opening. Previous experience working with children ispreferred for this school-based job. The director is ready tointerview qualified candidates, apply today for immediate consideration
Responsibilities:
- Designs,implements and/or updates a studentIEP based student goals and progress
- Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals.Communicates effectively withteammates, and facility staff.
- Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices required
Education:
- Active MainePhysical Therapy License
- Masters or Doctorate in PhysicalTherapy
- Previous experience working with a pediatric or school based caseload is preferred
