Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Swampscott, MA

ProCare Therapy is on the lookout for a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to collaborate with a welcoming school district in Swampscott, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to positively impact a diverse student population and support their educational success.

As a leading provider in school-based staffing, ProCare Therapy connects skilled professionals, including OTs, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and nurses, with fulfilling positions across the country.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Swampscott, MA (40-45 hours/week)
  • Term: 2024-2025 School Year
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Caseload: Two schools serving grades K-12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for each student
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to address students' needs

Benefits:

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $40-$47, based on experience
  • Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Employment Type: W-2 employment through ProCare Therapy with weekly paychecks every Friday

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and special education systems
  • Ability to engage effectively with a diverse student population

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NBCOT certification
  • Experience with English Language Learners
  • Bilingual skills and experience in collaborative or inclusive teaching environments
