Job Description

The maintenance mechanic will work in a food & beverage manufacturing environment doing maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, electrical, air and piping, PLCs, filling and packaging equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting and monitoring work areas, repairing, maintaining, and installing production equipment, and facilities maintenance. The candidate must display knowledge of plant operational systems such as refrigeration, electrical, air and piping, PLC's, filling and packing equipment, and support equipment. Ensuring all preventative maintenance work is completed is crucial.

This is a fully on-site position in Ellington, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Frequently stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. It is a manufacturing facility with different filling, refrigeration, and packing equipment.
