Are you a skilled Cytotechnologist ready to make a difference in patient care? We're hiring for a full-time, direct-hire staff position with a respected health system. This role offers a chance to work across various hospital locations (with some travel required) and play an essential part in evaluating and interpreting a wide range of cytological cases.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate and report negative gynecological cases.
• Interpret abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration (FNA) cases.
• Provide on-site adequacy evaluations for FNA procedures as part of a specialized team.
• Perform cyto-preparation, process specimens, and maintain Quality Control records.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certification: Cytotechnologist, CT (ASCP); Thin Prep certification required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences, plus completion of a CAAHEP-accredited 12-month Cytotechnology program.
• Experience: Recent Cytotechnology graduate or hospital-based experience, including cyto-preparation, FNA adequacy assessment, and gynecologic/non-gynecologic case evaluation.
• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in cytogenetics or molecular diagnostics.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• No holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements.
• Must be willing to travel between hospital locations (mileage reimbursed for same-day travel).
