The MS/Telemetry Nurse provides care and constant monitoring of patients, recovering from illness, surgery and often in critical condition. Will float through the various units of Med/Surg with the possibility of caring for those on telemetry units caring for a variety of patients including those suffering from heart failure, diabetes, GI diseases, and other acute diagnoses. This unit is a renal floor with peritoneal dialysis.
· Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program
RN positions require one to two years of experience in a hospital setting
Strong tele skills
Experience with heparin and lasix drips
Experience with Amiodarone or Milrinone IV infusions a plus
NY state RN license in hand
BLS (AHA)
Proof of right to work in the United States
English
