Job Description

The Journeyman E/I will:• Maintain electrical distribution equipment and components• Troubleshoot and replace drives and inverters• Troubleshoot motors, PLC’s, and field instruments such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, solenoids, and switches• Make preventative care rounds and lubricate a limited number of motors• Work with the shift millwright and operators to change motors, valves, etc. as needed• Troubleshoot and repair valves• Work with remote support to troubleshoot drives• Read and interpret PLC logic to help diagnose issues/troubleshoot problems• Tune control loops as needed• Record work results in written log and a computerized maintenance system• Work as part of a team and find solutions to issues and problems• Work safely and help others stay safe• Be able to assist in troubleshooting hydraulics• Communicate on radios and phones as needed to make repairs• Support a safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules• Perform other duties as assigned, 480V, Instrumentation
