Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Magnolia, TX. This full-time, full-year contract position is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled professional to support students' communication needs in a diverse and dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting speech and language assessments.
- Implement therapy plans developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in individual and group settings.
- Support bilingual students in both English and Spanish.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in Texas.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally competent services to students.
