Remote Special Education Teacher Position - Alabama

Location: Remote (Must be based in or licensed in Alabama)

This position allows you to work with exceptional schools across Alabama while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Role Overview:

  • Pay Rate: $33 - $38 per hour, based on experience
  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Hours: Reliable and consistent
  • Support: Access to a dedicated clinical team for guidance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs in a virtual environment.
  • Deliver live and pre-recorded lessons customized to each students learning style and requirements.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
  • Stay current on best practices in special education and online teaching.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Valid licensure in Alabama or your current state of residence (if applicable).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
  • Proficiency with online teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
