Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team for a long-term opportunity with the potential for direct hire. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling batteries for large vehicles, using various tools and equipment, and following detailed instructions to ensure high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble batteries with tools.
  • Transport and position batteries.
  • Follow blueprints and instructions.
  • Study specs and gather materials.
  • Use auxiliary equipment.
  • Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and inspect components.
  • Measure parts.
  • Drill and tap bolt holes.
  • Verify functionality.
  • Resolve assembly issues.
  • Adjust or install parts.
  • Maintain equipment.
  • Conserve resources.
  • Contribute to team efforts.
  • Identify non-conforming parts.
  • Provide input for improvements.
  • Rework or repair equipment.
  • Maintain job progress.
  • Use material handling equipment.
  • Assist other departments.
  • Observe safety and housekeeping procedures

Work Environment

The work environment consists of approximately 60 people. Employees are required to wear PPE, including steel-toed boots, jeans, smock, and no jewelry. The facility is a brand-new building.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAMARILLO, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
