Job Title: Production Team Member - Microwave Team
Location: Tracy, CA 
Work Hours: Monday - Saturday, 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $24- $28 hr.  (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Member to join our Microwave Team. This role involves working on the production line, handling raw and finished products, and ensuring compliance with USDA standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will have a background in food processing, experience with meat processing, and an understanding of food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove raw materials from packaging, place them in gondolas, and handle them in accordance with USDA standards.
  • Fill, label, seal, and palletize cartons of finished products.
  • Operate TI stations to label products correctly and complete necessary inventory transactions.
  • Label gondolas with the corresponding job numbers for raw materials.
  • Feed the production line with raw materials as required.
  • Assist in problem-solving on the production line and support team members as needed.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Enforce GMP and safety regulations, monitoring the production floor for safety hazards and reporting issues.
  • Respond to radio requests and support the Production Supervisor with updates on production activities.
  • Serve as a flexible team player, filling roles such as Operator, Wrangler, or Stager as required.

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • 1+ year of experience in a food processing environment
    • Advanced knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
    • HACCP certification

  • Preferred:

    • 2-4 years of experience with meat processing
    • USDA training
    • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Physical Demands

  • Spend 100% of time on the floor at assigned production lines.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and moving between workstations.
  • Regular use of hands for handling, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work on wet, even, and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to lift and relocate items up to 25 lbs. and occasionally push, pull, stoop, and bend.
  • Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus.
