Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (Onsite)
Contract Duration: ASAP - June 18, 2025
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Minimum)
Pay Rate: $44 - $49 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities in an elementary school setting.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective support and integration of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
