Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our team in Newhall, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. The Paraprofessional will support teachers and assist students in their academic and social development, working closely with students in the classroom to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Help monitor student behavior and promote a positive classroom environment.
  • Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom management.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (AA degree or higher preferred).
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
