Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in St. Louis Park, MN. This role involves working 40 hours per week with day shifts, including a weekend rotation every 6th/7th weekend and on-call duties every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM). Floating within the unit may be required. No major holiday coverage is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures with precision.
  • Work effectively with critically ill or injured adult patients.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, conduction disturbances, and sterile technique.
  • Operate defibrillator and crash cart, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Recognize and address medical emergencies, report equipment malfunctions, and carry out basic clerical activities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience in a large hospital setting required.
  • Knowledge of mathematical principles including algebra, as well as electrocardiography.
  • Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and effectively manage medical emergencies.
  • License: RDCS and ARDMS required upon submission.
  • Certification: CPR/BLS required upon submission.
  • Strongly prefers true travelers over local candidates.
