AAHA-accredited Stafford Veterinary Hospital in Manahawkin, New Jersey is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our 4-doctor team   We are a friendly group of doctors and technicians (many certified) who are knowledgeable, medically progressive, and open to new ideas.  Our clinic is centrally located near Long Beach Island, NYC and Philadelphia, and Wharton State Forest, providing entertainment for city- and nature-enthusiasts alike. 

Our clinic features:

  • Recently remodeled operating room
  • Laser Surgery
  • Laser Therapy Unit
  • New ultrasound machine - CE available for those interested in learning
  • Digital radiography
  • New high speed dental equipment with digital dental x-ray
  • Complete in-house blood work
  • Some orthopedic equipment, with the ability to expand should you require additional
  • AAHA-accredited since 1973
  • Shared doctor offices, cultivating a collaborative environment for discussion of challenging cases
  • Separate cat ward
  • Full in-house pharmacy
  • 1:1 technician to doctor ratio
  • No emergency/on call

Our ideal candidate has experience with exotics and orthopedic surgery.  Experience with chiropractic or acupuncture medicine is a plus Our hospital will provide support for other areas of interest as well 

We’re offering a competitive compensation (120,000-200,000 total compensation) and benefits packaging, including medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401k, continuing education allowance, vacation time, journals/licensing/professional dues; relocation assistance available, and a sign-on bonus of 20,000 with a 2024 start date.
