Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate sorting and labeling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
  • Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination.
  • Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.
  • Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
  • Label, weigh, and dimensioned freight.
  • Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock.
  • Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in material handling equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Ability to handle inventory and manage freight coding.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with forklifts and reach trucks is mandatory.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

This is facility that is very clean, climate-controlled, and provides a pleasant work environment. We offer multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules:

Weekend shifts: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM OR 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM **Candidates will train for the first week on the 1st shift.**
