Position:Order Entry Pharmacist
Location: Office Setting (On-Site)
Duration: 13-week contract (can be temp-to-hire)
Hours: 5pm to 3am (Thurs - Wed)
Duties:
- Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluations and verifications.
- Utilize clinical skills, including monitoring, dosing, and reviewing patient medication therapy, while leaving the dispensing to the hospital.
- Physician and nursing consultations.
- Clinical medication dosing services.
- Coordinate access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in pliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active/clear pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
- At least 2 years of inpatient-hospital experience required.
- Proficient with EPIC software.
- Experience with other hospital EMR systems (highly preferred).
