Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 3640 hours per week
Hourly Pay: $20$23per hour, depending on experience
ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a well-regarded school district in Albert Lea, MN, to find a dedicated and caring Paraprofessional. This full-time, in-person position offers the chance to support students in both academic and social settings, helping them to succeed in their educational journey.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom and helping students achieve their goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist students with classroom tasks, including individual and group activities
- Provide tailored support to students with special needs, helping them meet IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers to create and implement strategies for student success
- Help with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
- Monitor student behavior, providing guidance and encouragement throughout the day
- Work with teachers to evaluate students strengths and areas for growth
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associates degree or higher is preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Patience, creativity, and a strong desire to support students' success
