Location: New York City, NY 10024
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday Friday, with rotating weekends.
Hours of Operation:
- MondayFriday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Supervising pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all professional policies and procedures.
- Managing all aspects of medication dispensing, including verifying prescription instructions from prescribers.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear NY State Pharmacist license.
- Proven experience in retail, mail-order, or specialty pharmacy settings.
- Must have experience handling high-volume environments (800+ prescriptions/day).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent standing or walking required.
- Manual dexterity necessary for long periods of activity.
