Special Education Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity in Laveen, AZ? Procare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning abilities
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to inform instructional decisions
- Attend IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including progress reports and attendance records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with students with special needs
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth
