Currently seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer to join our Katy, TX location.

Responsibilities of the CAD Drafter/Designer include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and revising drawings and bill of materials on rotating equipment including pumps, engines, electric motors, vessels, piping, valves, and instrumentation
  • Interfacing daily with mechanical engineers
  • Reporting to Project Engineering Manager

Qualifications of the CAD Drafter/Designer include, but are not limited to:

  • 3 years minimum pipe routing experience with SolidWorks required
  • Experience with weldments and routing within SolidWorks required
  • PC literate; typically MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: 8 hours per day

Working Conditions: Office environment
Training/Certifications: SolidWorks (Required) some AutoCAD (preferred)
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Travel: N/A
Education: Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred) or similar experience
