BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Technician: Manufacturing – III for an opportunity in Chandler, AZ

Position Title: Technician: Manufacturing - III
Location: 5000 West Chandler Boulevard, Chandler, AZ 85226
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP   
Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 6+ months contract with possible extension
Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE
Shift Hours: 8am to 5pm
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Pay Range: [$32.38/hr] – [$34.62/hr]      
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
 
Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Test technician or Systems technician for processor systems or HW Validation technician.
  • Familiar with board assy and rework process
  • Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
  • Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
  • Perform initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and driven.
  • Some degree of judgement is required in resolving nonstandard problems.
  • Good communication skills and able to work within a diverse team
  • Ability to assemble/rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with Windows OS, experience updating/configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog etc)

Education:

  • Electrical or electronic technician with some SW expertise in Python or similar
  • Minimum Educational Requirement - BS degree preferred, min AS degree
