Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher

Are you dedicated special educatorcommitted to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive? ProCare Therapy isseeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Resource Teacher to join one of our most trusted and dynamic school districts located in the beautiful community of Antioch, IL. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to provide targeted instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. The Resource Teacher will play a critical role in helping students achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential.

Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 32.5-35 hours per week
  • Elementary caseload
  • Resource classroom
  • Full 24/25 school year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
  • Active state License
  • Active state Certification
  • PEL
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
