Job Description
As a Level III Machinist, you will be responsible for metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and deburring parts to blueprint specifications. This role involves staging parts using a forklift and pallet jack, operating CNC machines, deburring parts, and performing general duties around the machine shop. This position requires flexibility and the ability to handle various tasks to support the production process.
Responsibilities- Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, transport material, operate wash tanks, and use a forklift to move materials around the facility.
- Work overtime as needed to support manufacturing requirements.
- Troubleshoot and solve everyday problems.
- Float from one machine to another as needed.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Mechanical skills.
- Machine operating experience.
- Quality inspection.
- Production experience.
- Experience with metal cutting and manual machining.
- Basic shop class experience from high school.
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience running a machine in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).
- Experience performing quality inspections on finished parts.
- Sit-down forklift experience.
- Deburring experience.

Work EnvironmentThis is a manufacturing environment with shifts available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as well as AWS schedules. The facility is split into half assembly side and half machine shop and is temperature-controlled throughout. We maintain a relaxed dress code allowing sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats; work pants and jeans are acceptable, though leggings and sweatpants are not. The facility is very clean with minimal debris, and safety is a top priority, requiring steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses, which are provided.
