ProCare Therapy is seeking aSchool Social Workerin Detroit, MI for the 2024-2025 school year. The professional will apply expertise in helping students mental health, learning, and education. This dynamic, full-time position is provided benefits through ProCare Therapy.

Job Type:

  • Full-time, onsite position.
  • The school psychologist will support students in K-8thgrade with social work goals and skill development.
  • Social Worker will help students with crisis interventions, emotional support counseling, and mental and behavioral health.
  • Candidates are invited to participate in Professional Development days. Should they wish to participate, they agree to forgo their hourly rate and accept a daily stipend.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Masters Degree.
  • Must be licensed in the state of Michigan.
  • Previous experience in schools ispreferred but NOT required.

  • This is a W2 contract position.
  • Highly competitive compensation that is paid weekly. Pay is based on experience and job responsibilities, the range is $38-50/hour.
