Location: Remote (Nebraska)
Type: FT
Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and qualified Virtual School Psychologists to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will work remotely to support students' mental health and educational needs at a Nebraskaschool district. Your role will involve providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation services to students, parents, and educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities will differ depending on the districts needs and your areas of expertise.
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students via secure online platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress.
- Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and virtual counseling.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist license in Nebraska.
- Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
