Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a webmaster for one of our clients in Winston Salem, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s WordPress website, ensuring consistent uptime and optimal performance.
• Monitor site security, perform regular updates to plugins, themes, and WordPress core, and address vulnerabilities promptly.
• Troubleshoot website issues, perform bug fixes, and conduct regular testing to ensure functionality across devices and browsers.
• Develop and implement new website features, functionalities, and enhancements using custom code, themes, or plugins.
• Optimize website performance, including page speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure content is updated and aligned with business goals.
• Create and manage website backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure website compliance with legal requirements, such as accessibility and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and performance metrics to recommend and implement improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest web trends, technologies, and best practices related to WordPress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Master or similar role, with expertise in WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress security best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance tools.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Familiarity with website accessibility standards (WCAG) and privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
