Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and document quality control procedures and results.
- Identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Train and educate staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Experience with quality assurance in the food industry.
- Knowledge of SQF and other food quality standards.
- Understanding of microbiology and food safety principles.
The work environment includes lab, office, and manufacturing settings. The position requires working four ten-hour shifts with some flexibility. The typical shift is from 8 AM to 6 PM, but there may be a need to work from 10 AM to 8 PM.
