Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of electrical systems for a diverse range of projects. You will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Leadership: Lead the design and execution of electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
2.Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and renewable energy solutions.
3.Team Management: Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers and designers, providing technical support, reviewing their work, and fostering their professional development.
4.Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their needs, present technical solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
5.Design and Analysis: Perform electrical system calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance, efficiency, and safety.
6.Code Compliance: Ensure that all electrical designs meet relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
7.Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
8.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in electrical system design and documentation.
9.Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in project management and budgeting is a plus.
