We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves maintaining the general ledger, performing account reconciliation, and preparing financial statements and reports. As a Senior Accountant, you will also assist with audits and budgeting processes in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledgers for multiple entities and ensure their accuracy

• Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheets and profit & loss statements

• Conduct general cost analysis and perform similar duties for the organization

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure that all reconciling items are resolved promptly

• Analyze margins and report for multiple lines of business

• Oversee credit and collections calls and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment

• Maintain inventory cycle counts across multiple locations

• Uphold established accounting practices and procedures

• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Use accounting software systems to manage and analyze financial data.

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant.

• Proficiency in account analysis is a must.

• Ability to perform account reconciliation effectively.

• Experience in accounting management is required.

• Knowledge of accounting software systems is essential.

• Competence in adjusting journal entries is necessary.

• Ability to analyze financial statements accurately.

• Experience in annual financial reporting is needed.

• Familiarity with annual internal audits is crucial.

• Proficiency in handling bank statements is required.
