LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a reputable public firm in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA certification and have over 5 years of public accounting experience, including some leadership responsibilities. This role involves managing tax compliance and planning for a diverse client base, providing strategic tax advice, and leading a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client benefits.

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and addressing complex tax issues.

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Research and Analysis: Stay current with tax laws and regulations, conducting thorough research and analysis to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.

  • Audit Support: Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before tax authorities as needed.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed tax reports and projections to clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with some leadership experience.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Skills:

    • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
