Axway Administrator

We are seeking a Axway Administrator to support our customer, a major Federal Healthcare Insurance organization in Washington DC. We are seeking candidates that have 5 years of experience working with the Axway product, and able to upgrade the product, apply patches, and oversee building new environments for the Axway product. Other responsibilities will include:

• Set up secure file transfers and folders, and troubleshoot any file transfer issues.
• Support and deploy network security application and hardware components.
• Work under the direction of the senior technical staff in administration, configuration, and maintenance of network and security tools and data.

Required Skills

• Focus for this position is on configuration and customization of Axway Product
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, and FTP
• Symmetric & Asymmetric Encryption knowledge is required
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux O/S, and firewalls and network topology
• May also include working with other security tools: Infoblox, Qradar, ForeScout, ProofPoint, CyberArk, Carbon Black, FireEye, Palo Alto Firewall,
• and F5 load balancer.
• Monitoring and trouble-shooting network and security incidents.
• Work in collaboration with end user groups to understand requirements and provide the technical solutions.
• Interact with customers at all levels to provide high-level of professional customer care for all clients.
• Assist with system documentation and process mapping.
• Conduct Research and Development for process improvement and innovation.
