Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Hempstead, Texas. This role primarily involves coordinating electronic invoicing for various customers, verifying data accuracy, reconciling billing to EDI platforms, and prioritizing tasks. In this role, you will work independently, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and maintain effective communication.Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage electronic invoicing for various customers daily.
• Ensure accurate data entry across all billing tasks.
• Reconcile billing activities with EDI platforms as part of the role.
• Work independently, showcasing self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Solve problems and take necessary action to achieve results.
• Maintain effective oral and written communication skills.
• Utilize Excel for various tasks including pivots and lookups.
• Leverage knowledge of NetSuite, OpenInvoice, Cortex for efficient billing operations.
• Organize daily duties and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Handle accounts receivable and other billing functions as required.• Minimum of three years of experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience in Billing Functions such as invoice processing, billing adjustments, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar financial management software
• Excellent customer communication skills to effectively resolve billing issues
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
