Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working closely with engineers on setup and calibration tasks, as well as rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Additionally, you will determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. There will also be opportunities to work with engineers in conducting experiments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations.
  • Work with engineers on setup and calibration tasks.
  • Conduct rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
  • Conduct online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Work with engineers in conducting experiments.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in production and assembly.
  • Experience as a Production Technician or Mechanical Assembler.
