Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Roxbury, Massachusetts

Job Details:

  • On site
  • K-12 caseload
  • Bilingual preferred

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Massachusetts state license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with AAC devices

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs and goals of each patient
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address speech and language deficits
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and home exercises
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
