Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Maintenance Electrician responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs on 53 production lines and various auxiliary equipment. The role includes working with robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, bag machines, blow fillers, extruders, winders, gears, bearings, motors, switches, fuses, circuits, control circuits, and relays. Candidates must have strong experience in industrial electric systems up to 480v 3-phase and be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and symbols. Responsibilities also include installing drives, setting parameters, unwiring/rewiring switches, replacing sensors, and troubleshooting PLCs. This position involves participation in new projects, machinery upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks may also be required. The role is within a clean, climate-controlled industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Work with robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and various machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and symbols.
• Install drives, set parameters, and replace sensors.
• Troubleshoot and edit PLCs, including checking inputs/outputs and changing parameters.
• Participate in new projects, machinery upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Industrial multi-craft maintenance experience.
• Heavy industrial electrical experience with 480v 3-phase.
• Ability to unwire/rewire switches, replace sensors, and install drives.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and symbols.
• PLC/Controls troubleshooting skills, including checking inputs/outputs, editing ladder logic, and changing parameters.

This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00

-Climate Controlled, Non-Union Environment
-Biweekly pay with 8hrs of OT on each paycheck
-Tools Provided ($6k full set, toolbox, and Milwaukee power tool set)
-80 hours of PTO (Pro-rated on Fiscal Year: Oct 1st - Sept 31st)
-3wks after 6 years & 4wks after 15yrs
-Tuition reimbursement after 6 months for Bachelors & after 1 year for Masters
-4 Medical plans, 2 Dental plans, Vision, Accidental, and Critical Insurance available to enroll in
-Eligible for benefits 1st of Month following 30 days of employment
-401k with 50% match up to 6% and 100% vested after 1st year (eligible 1st of the month following 3 months of employment)
-Retention bonus: 30 days: $250, 60 days: $250, and 90 days: $500 (=$1,000)
-Production Bonus paid out in June & December (typically around $600)
-Boot allowance after 90-days (can save pre-employment receipt & submit for reimbursement after 90-days)
-Safety minded culture - will invest money to improve safety whenever needed or fit
