BCBA Immediate Job Opening in Issaquah, WA
A great school district in Issaquah, WA area is now looking to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a current, full-time opening that will design behavioral interventions in collaboration with the treatment team. The following are requirements for this position:
Education:
- Licensed Behavior Specialist

- Completion of all ongoing training, policy review, and supervision requirements
- Masters degree in the mental health field
- National BCBA certification
Educational Staff Associate (ESA) with School Behavior Analyst Endorsement(Must be active)
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and analyzes client behaviors for the development of a client behavior management program.
- Monitors clients in the area of behavioral management.
- Coordinates resources based on the behavior management program to enhance client and family functioning.
- Assists in problem solving when conflicts arise over behavioral paradigms in other involved systems.
- Troubleshoots with the team when behavioral interventions are seen as ineffective for the client or family.
- Makes quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions.
- Possesses high level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers using a consultative style.
- Designs and implements clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selected mental and behavioral conditions.
- Works in a team to share responsibilities and duties.
- Resolves interpersonal conflict in a straightforward and timely manner.
- Sets priorities, is organized, and is a self-starter.
- Ability to be friendly, empathic, and an adept communicator.
- Works effectively as a team, interfacing with clients, consulting psychiatrist, and mental health specialists, as well as with administrative and support staff.
- Exercises balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, and handles difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner.
- Develops a 24-hour crisis plan.
- Conducts task analyses.
