Job Title: Intervention Specialist Elyria, Ohio

About the Opportunity:

This full-time position provides the opportunity to work directly with students in need of academic support, all within your contracted hoursno additional work outside your schedule. Position Details:

  • Location: Elyria, OH
  • Grade Levels: Flexible, based on school needs (elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with no after-hours work
  • Pay Rate: $34$45 per hour, depending on experience
  • Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k)

What Youll Do:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students
  • Provide small group or one-on-one academic interventions, focusing on ELA, Math, and social-emotional growth
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure success
  • Empower students to build confidence, reach their academic goals, and enhance their social-emotional development

Required Qualifications:

  • A valid Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist license
  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
  • Familiarity with Ohios special education standards, IEP processes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
