About the Role:
ProCare Therapy is thrilled to offer a full-time position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in Orion Township, MI. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work with young children in a supportive and dynamic school setting.
Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position within an inclusive environment focusing on Early Childhood (Birth-3 years) and PreK.
- Setting: Onsite, providing essential speech therapy services to young students.
- Focus: Addressing a range of speech and language needs for early childhood and preschool children.
- Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of up to 45 students.
What You'll Do:
- Therapy Services: Deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each students developmental needs.
- Manage Caseload: Offer dedicated support for children with diverse speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support and effective communication.
- Monitor Progress: Track and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
- Engage: Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.
A Day in the Life:
Start your day with a warm welcome from students and staff. Mornings will involve providing personalized therapy sessions, while lunchtime will be dedicated to collaborating with teachers and parents. The afternoon will focus on additional therapy sessions and planning, all aimed at supporting student development.
What Were Looking For:
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license in Michigan.
- Experience: Preferred experience in early childhood and preschool settings; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
