Now actively hiring for Industrial Packaging Mechanics for a leading company in the packaging industry located in Totowa, NJ Please submit and application to be considered for the role.

Pay: $28-$35/hr

Shift: 1st shift - 6:00am-3:00pm AND 2nd shift - 3:00pm-12:00am

Location: Totowa, NJ

Description: We are seeking a skilled Packaging Mechanic to join our team.

- Preventative maintenance on packaging machinery

- Set up and change over machines

- Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting

- Experience with HMIs and PLCs is a plus

- Maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems

- Read technical diagrams and blueprints

- Perform general electrical maintenance

- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP/GMP, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

- Ability to utilize diagnostic equipment and tools

- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish) - open to Spanish speaking only

- Proficiency with electrical hand tools and power tools

- Ability to read and interpret schematics

- Experience with amp meters, ohmmeters, voltmeters
