Job DescriptionJob Description

Join our surgical team for a locum cardiothoracic surgery position offering a supportive environment and diverse case exposure.

Schedule:


  • Coverage from December 2024 to June 2025
  • 24/7 coverage shared with full-time and PRN providers
  • 10-14 days of call coverage per month

Practice Setting:


  • Clinic located inside hospital
  • Hospital rounding, call, and call back
  • Level 2 Trauma Center with 12 operating rooms, including a hybrid room

Procedures and Cases:


  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)
  • Redo Coronary Revascularization, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement
  • Average 1-2 cases per day

Requirements:


  • Board Certified and Fellowship Trained
  • Active Ohio License or willingness to obtain
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

Credentialing Requirements:


  • Estimated timeframe: 60-90 days
  • Will wait for license if needed

Travel Accommodations:


  • Travel/lodging covered
